The Municipality of Prrenjas

Prrenjas

The Municipality of Prrenjas is bordered in the north with the Municipality of Librazhd, in the east of the Republic of Macedonia, in the south with the Municipality of Pogradec and in the west with the Municipality of Elbasan. The center of the municipality is the city of Prrenjas. This municipality consists of 4 administrative units, which are: Prrenjas, Quka, Rrajcë and Stravaj. The Municipality of Prrenjas has a population of 24,906 inhabitants, according to the Census 2011 INSTAT and 33,031 inhabitants according to the Civil Registry. The new municipality has under its administration a city and 25 villages.
